What do you think of this list? I wonder how Rachel Ray’s cookbook got on the list, but otherwise the books included all seem good to me. But why Hillary Clinton and no other prominent political women? What about Eleanor Roosevelt? Or what about Helen Keller? Why Atwood’s Cat’s Eye and not The Handmaid’s Tale? I don’t think Cat’s Eye is her best or most important work.

I very highly recommend reading Alice Walker’s “The Temple of My Familiar.” Excellent book!
